To understand Melinda's philosophy and that she speaks wisely from life experience, it is important to look at both her past and present.
Melinda, raised in a family of four girls in upstate New York, attributes her clairvoyance to her strong Irish Catholic background. When asked why she thought she was given the gift of being so in tune with her God-Mind or spirit, Melinda reflects upon her own life experiences.
She states, "I think my gift is a continuation of generational energy. It is also about attitude. No one can have all the answers, but what one can do is refuse to live life as a victim of circumstance. Each time you figure out what went wrong, take responsibility without blaming others, and figure out the way to change your life for the better, you can get a little closer to hearing Spirit whisper encouraging words in your ear."
As her study of spiritual energy progressed, Melinda realized that she could connect with people who had already crossed over (passed away). She was able to gain insightful information from them for the living they left behind. Though blessed with this amazing gift, she is still a very real, down-to-earth person who keeps her ego in check by admitting that she still her own work to do.
Melinda, primarily, considers herself to be a teacher. A teacher is one who simply channels information to enlighten her students on various issues. A good teacher does not push her own opinions on students but rather entices them to explore ideas from a new perspective. In this role, Melinda considers her main mission to instruct individuals on how to tap into their spiritual essence. She provides the necessary tools to understand the energetic patterns created in childhood, which may prohibit balance in adulthood.
Today, Melinda lives and works in Tempe, Arizona, where she maintains a successful practice as the leading intuitive therapist in the Southwest. She is also a certified hypnotherapist, lecturer, and author of The Other Side of the Vail, Spiritual Guidance for Everyday Living.
Melinda currently counsels and reads for people all over the world. She takes appointments for readings and counseling sessions in-person and over-the-phone for those clients who live out-of-state or out of the country. Her unique ability to provide insightful information from mere photographs allows her to help all people regardless of their location. Her special abilities have also aided several law enforcement agencies solve crimes and find missing persons.
Melinda has appeared on local television and radio programs spreading her message. She has spoken nationally at such events as "Celebrate Your Life" alongside Sylvia Browne, Wayne Dyer, and James Redfield, author of the Celestine Prophecy. Additionally, she joined John Holland, Wyatt Webb and others at "Celebrating Body, Mind & Spirit" in Spokane, Washington. She also enjoys teaching her own regularly held classes and seminars.
Recently, Melinda was invited by Toni Reece, President of The PEOPLE Academy, Inc., to participate in the Get Inspired! Project.
